Our guide, Will, is from the village. He was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and plants and good at spotting them. He is passionate about conservation and the environment. We saw and heard the howler monkeys from the boat and during the forest walk. On the boat we saw dolphins and manatees close up. Lunch was included and we ate in the village. The whole experience was top class. Thanks, Will, for a great day out. I highly recommend this company.

  This was a very good, informative tour booked while the cruise was in Harvest Caye.
Be prepared for the fast ride across the sea - where we spotted dolphins -... read more followed by the more relaxing meandering up the river. Here we saw lots of wildlife, including crocs, turtles, monkeys and iguanas.
Part of the tour is a brief 10-20 walk in the tropical forest, where we also saw monkeys, a snake and also a tarantula.
One point of note: do take plenty of insect repellent and make sure you spray up before you head off on the walk as the mosquitoes will happily feast on you! But it’s real life and real nature, so don’t be put off by that.
On the return there will be a quick stop at the island on the river for some drinks (at your own cost) before you speed boat back across to the Harvest Caye (if you’ve come in with Norwegian Cruise Line).
The two guys (the skipper and the tracker) were brilliant and great eyes for spotting all the wildlife!
