We even passed by Zane’s little children playing in the river by his home and that was heartwarming to be really immersed in the daily life of Belize. Getting in and out of the boat and walking around required a little bit of dexterity but both gentlemen were right there to help and left nobody behind. We saw lots of birds and wildlife, and yes, even monkeys. They had so much incredible info to share about the animals, plants and the history of Belize. It was a great way to spend the day and I highly recommend—we were actually a little sad to leave! As President reminded us, it was “un-Belize-able”!!! #teamBambooChicken

Part os... read more this tour, you need to be agile. Getting in and out of the boat was difficult. I did not do the trail into the jungle as it was very muddy and difficult and a 30 minute hike. But I did hear the howler monkeys while waiting in the boat. If you tend to sea sickness, this is not for you. There is about a 30 minute small boat ride across open choppy water. Wear long pants, bring bug spray, and a jacket

A little... read more walk through the jungle was so interesting and we learned about the native plants and watched a howler monkey eat leaves right above us. The boat was clean and has a canopy for shade. Lunch was a cool experience as well trying some local cuisine. We highly recommend this tour! You will not be disappointed!!
